the Bear SG Applecare gives you ON-SITE support.. they COME to you and fix whatever it is.. and if they cannot, they'll replace the whole thing.. all you have to do is to purchase it but you rejected that... even when you can buy an Apple and run XP on it.. there are some bullet-proof parts which you can install too.. however, software problems, no one can help you.. no warranty will be applicable if you get virii or those things.. most of all, i didn't know anything at all when i first got my first x86 based PC.. i learnt..
Rhonda SG Y'know... I don't know how to install two operating systems on the same PC. I won't even know where to start! If you were my neighbour, maybe I can bug you to help me with stuff. But I think you kinda live... let's see... 7 hours' flight away so that ain't exactly the support that I'm talking about! Just remember, I'm a PC dodo. Whatever's 'easy' to you is uncharted territory for me.
av98m SG I was thinking of getting an apple for my next PC...............but decided that I still want a souped up ah beng PC from SLS
choco B SG Totally agree, it's a betrayal But just in case, I hope you told her clearly that you want the bag LOL
hisoka SG huh? merely thinking of how you said the guys there were more likely to accept you and were lesss discriminative of size and like brains in a female. gave the impression you approved of males over there. so since you were looking for a computer competent person, might as well multi-task
stellazio SG we're showing more concern for u ma. better then the bear, only know how to keep selling the mac. oh btw, recently i have this female friend who told me, she has problems with her comp, reason being. she bought a mac, says i duno how to use it, to which i replied, u bought the mac for the lone reason that its chio right? she replied yah, dun you know i'm like that? bimbofied.
Rhonda SG OK, this is a sentence from an email from who I thought was a decent bloke, that sent the creeps up my spine and made me turn cold with fear! "I love to meet people, have fun and pleasure women " OK, this now makes me wonder about this man's definition of a 'friendship'! Jeepers Creepers!! Can the Aussie men PLEASE stop thinking with their other brain long enough?!
the Bear SG wander to an AppleCentre.. there's one in the city i think.. buy the XP for dual-boot from them.. slap it in the Apple.. wait.. click the bits.. register.. done... that's the thing about Apple.. you don't need to know the fiddly bits because there aren't any fiddly bits and when you're at AppleCentre, you can see the range of games made for Apple.. they have the types of games you like to the intense types like WoW and Return to Wolfenstein.. and Blizzard supports both Windoze and OSX and sells the game in a box which can be run on either.. best of all, the footprint of the iMac is so minute, you'd wonder what's going on
Rhonda SG Actually, I too pai seh to be so forthright. I'm like that... I want something, but I find it hard to say "I want it". I just kinda sit there and keep praising it and hope she gets the hint.
Rhonda SG You make it sound so easy! OK, I think I shall make a trip down to the Apple Center in town next week and see what they have for dodo's like me. If I can really play games on the 2nd OS with no probs, then I'm sold.
